We are now booking acts for the 2015 season of Garden Gigs.
We will be starting the programme of events in March 2015 with The Cadbury Sisters; followed by Blue Rose Code in April. We have Annie Dressner confirmed for June and are working on the May event.
Please watch this space for more info as we get acts finalised. Alternatively, please sign up for the newsletter.
We've been delighted with the response to the gigs so far. We have hosted some exceptionally talented performers, who have made a huge impact on the audience. Many of whom have not seen the likes of Kathryn Williams, Tom McRae or Nels Andrews before.
In that regard we have succeeded in bringing a new audience to these performers and exposing our regular supporters to some great new musicians and songwriters.
Garden Gigs is a great initiative from Ed Sykes of Llys Meddyg Restaurant with Rooms and Jake Hollyfield of Uncles of Groove Music Production Services. The idea is simple. To get great musicians from across the UK to play in our vibrant little town.
Newport suffers from being a bit peripheral to say the least, and one of the biggest challenges we locals face is easy access to the bigger names on the circuit. So we thought, why not bring them here?
Don't get us wrong, there is stacks of great talent locally, and we aim to offer you the chance to see them along with our headline acts, and who knows even some of our home-grown talent will fill the headline slot.
We aim to hold a Garden Gig once a month, and as we enter the, hopefully, warmer and dryer part the year, the venue will come into its own. The gigs are held in the Kitchen Garden at the rear of the hotel. This is a cosy club-like venue that will really make our gigs feel special
All the information you need is right here and includes our exclusive ticket office. Space is limited so entry is by ticket only, which can be purchased up to the last minute. As they are E-tickets you can even use your smartphone to present them.

Thanks for your interest and we look forward to seeing you during a great year of gigs.
